Introduction to Meditation

We are opening our garden for the Winter season of meditation events and gardening tours
Date: November 21st, 2020
Time: 9am – 10am
This is an outdoor event, in case of rain it will be cancelled without notice. Do not come if it’s raining.
What to bring: Your own yoga mat or a beach blanket is a must (for you to sit on).
Wear loose comfortable clothes, long sleeves and pants that allow you to sit comfortably on the yoga mat; if possible avoid wearing black.
Please do not show up without registration and an email confirmation. DO NOT LOOK UP THE GARDEN ADDRESS ON GOOGLE MAP, IT WON’T TAKE YOU TO THE RIGHT PLACE. The address on google maps is an approximate address for technical reasons; you will get the exact venue address upon registration. Copy that address into your google map for directions.
About this class
If you are new to meditation and worry that you cannot sit silently doing nothing, this class is for you.
There are more than 300 different types of meditations to choose from, and not all of them are silent! In this class you will find out about different techniques from different spiritual paths of the world and decide which techniques to try for your lifestyle and personality. You will also practice a guided technique to get the taste of meditation.
Price: These classes are donation based, $10 suggested donation. Your donations help us keep the garden beautiful.
We have a zero tolerance policy to drugs and alcohol. If you are found intoxicated you will be asked to leave and banned from future events.
We follow national Covid guidelines for social distancing. Please wear a mask.
