Fruit trees and non-trees (bananas, papayas, bamboos)

June 29, 2019 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Our theme this weekend : Fruit trees and non-trees (bananas, papayas, bamboos) – How to choose a plant to plant, how to plant it and care for it so that it produces fruit and not just stands there

Osho Bodhisattva Meditation Garden is not just a space for meditation but is also an organic, pesticide- and herbicide-free edible garden for conscious education of the public about edible landscaping with native and pollinator-friendly plants. We are 100% vegan and non-violent, and our garden is a certified Wildlife Habitat. 2 rescued bunnies help to naturally fertilize the Garden, rescued community cats protect it against ruthless pests.

We raise monarch & zebra longwing butterflies and support a multitude of other life forms. We promote the principles of biodynamics, permaculture and natural cycling of organic matter. We grow and share food with our fellow meditators and friends of the Garden, big and small. Non-human friends – birds, butterflies, bees, other pollinators, beneficial insects and mammals – all play their role and find food and shelter in Osho Bodhisattva Garden.

And we can teach you how to do all of that in your own backyard! It’s fun and educational, plus you can grow your food and protect the Earth at the same time!

To schedule a garden tour, please fill up the registration form. Specify your interests.

All our activities are donation-based. Maintaining the garden of this scale requires some financial contribution, and we are grateful for every donation. All your donations are tax-deductible, request a receipt for your tax return.
